Overview

Following the chimpanzees.

Kibale National Park is a tropical forest in western Uganda with one of the highest concentrations of primates in East Africa: thirteen species in all. Its habituated chimpanzee communities can be tracked on foot with Uganda Wildlife Authority guides, and the forest is loud with their calls when they are close.

Kibale pairs naturally with Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth on a western Uganda circuit. As elsewhere in Uganda, Dexter plans it with you, and your guide on the ground is one of his trusted local partners.
